I have a file on microsoft works and now I am trying to open it again after a week of not using it and it says it could be corrupt

I am a bit confused here, is this a document trying to open on works, word or both? also have you made any major changes to your system since you last tried opening this file? did you install any new software? move files around?

Hi, I suspect the document may be corrupt beyond repair. Just try to try WordPad to check if you could open this file. Try navigating to the file using windows explorer. Right click on the file and select "restore previous version".
